WireGuard on a TV

Android TV runs the app. Other TVs go through a router.

    Android TV and Google TV

    Install WireGuard from Google Play on the TV.

    Get the file onto the TV

    In your account, add a device for TV and download the .conf file. Copy it to a USB stick, or use any file-transfer app you already have on the TV.

    Import it

    In WireGuard choose to add a tunnel and import from file, then switch it on and allow the VPN.

    Apple TV, Samsung, LG and others

    These have no official WireGuard app. Run the tunnel on your router and the TV is covered with everything else.
