WireGuard on a router

Cover every device at home, including ones that can't run a VPN.

    Check your firmware

    You need a WireGuard client: GL.iNet routers, recent ASUS firmware, OpenWrt, OPNsense and pfSense all have one. Menu names differ between them.

    Download the configuration

    In your account, add a device for Router and download the .conf file.

    Import it

    Open the router's VPN or WireGuard client section and import or upload the file. If the firmware only takes manual settings, copy the values from the file.

    Switch it on

    Enable the client and route your network through it. Then open “Am I protected?” from any device at home to confirm.
